Pozice: Verification Engineer
Nějaký ten popis: As a verification engineer you will be responsible for designing and executing automated tests. You will be working closely with senior colleagues, architects and developers to ensure proper quality of the tested product. You will be actively engaged in the entire development lifecycle ranging from design and development to testing of Acision products that are rendered to a wide range of customers in the telecommunications industry. You will be actively cooperating with our support and deployment department to gain the experience from the field.

Náplň práce:
Prepare and execute system tests.
Prepare and execute component integration tests.
Cooperate on user stories specifications.
Cooperate with other Scrum team members.
Actively develop tools/testing frameworks – Python, BASH, Tcl.
Participate in supporting and sustaining activities.
Participate in/prepare product deployment and support remotely or on site.
Participate in preparing and reviewing test plans, test designs and system test specifications.
Collaborate on preparing and reviewing test reports.
Prepare and update product documentation and provide technical support to technical writers who manage the documentation.
Požadavky:
- aspoň rok praxe v oblasti vývoje software nebo testování software, případě absolvent s excelentními znalostmi
- velmi vhodné vzdělání v oboru IT/telekomunikace
- angličtina na komunikativní úrovni (dalo by se překousnout, pokud to nebude úplně plynulé, v týmu rozumíme česky všichni)
Technické znalosti:
Experience with software development and testing.
Script writing on the Linux platform (such as Bash, Python, Tcl/tk, Perl).
Basic knowledge of at least one common programming language (C, C++, Java, …).
Awareness of test methodologies – classic and agile (TDD, XP).
OS Linux active experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
Zanlosti výhodou:
Understanding of network standards, protocols and architecture (such as TCP/IP, SS7 and SIP).
Experience with version control systems (e.g. GIT) and bug-tracking systems is desirable.
Familiarity with various software development lifecycles; specifically the Agile methodology is an advantage.
